Highlights from the Vermont Summer Festival

Week 5— Vermont Summer Celebration

Mary Lisa Leffler of Brookeville, MD packed a one-two punch by winning and placing second in the $35,000 Vermont Summer Celebration Grand Prix in East Dorset, VT. Here she is aboard her winning mount, Kartousch.


Lindsay Howe of Newport, VT riding Beaverwoods Starling to victory in the prestigious U.S. Equestrian Federation Medal class.

Shachine Belle of South Salem, NY riding Hugh Kerrigan's Anticipation jumped to victory in the $5000 Pre Green Hunter Classic.

Lollipop, owned and ridden by James Lala od Darien, CT wins a Pre Green Hunter class at the Vermont Summer Celebration.

Week 4— Manchester & the Mountains Horse Show

Danielle Torano and Quinault, of Ft Lauderdale FL won this week's $35,000 Manchester and The Mountains Grand Prix.

Beth A. Salvatore winner of the Charles Owen Adult Medal Class.

Kendall Bate of Wellington, FL on Keystone won the ASPCA Maclay this week.
Week four in Vermont kicked off today with perfect weather~and a perfect ride for Meredith Taylor aboard Selena to take the first blue in Level 2 Jumpers!

Week 3— Valley Classic Horse Show

Tracy Bartko-Magness aboard J'Aime La Vie win the $35,000 Valley Classic Grand Prix sponsored by the Eqinox Resort and Spa.

Nikko Ritter and Burning Cat Ballou took top honors in the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior Classic.

Danielle Torano and Lojana won the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Amateur Owner Classic for the third consecutive week.

Katlyn Bilodeau and Alesso winning top honors in the Show Circuit Magazine Children's Medal class.

Molly Braswell and Jack Black won the blue in the USEF Pony Medal. Sandra Epstein of Pawling, NY jumped to victory aboard Euro Star in the Charles OwenAdult Medal.

Week 2— Manchester Classic Horse Show

Angela Covert-Lawrence of Montreal, Quebec rode
Marc and Louise Sabbah's horse Tomboy Major to
victory in the Manchester Classic $35,000
Grand Prix.

Maggie McAlary aboard Editorial taking the overall win in week two's WIHS.

Amy Momrow aboard Summer Storm, owned by Shaine Brooks won week two's $10,000 Mini Prix.  
Week 1— Manchester Summer Festival Horse Show
Veteran US Equestrian team rider Jimmy Torano aboard Aguila wins the Orvis Grand Prix at the Vermont Summer Festival.

Harold Chopping aboard Kathleen just missed out on the bigger paycheck, finishing second in the Orvis Grand Prix at the Vermont Summer Festival.

Neither rain nor mud kept Juliana Starbuck aboard Pamina from taking the win in the first Mini Prix of the Vermont Summer Festival.

US Equestrian team vetran Jimmy Torano of Ft Lauderdale aboard Herrera on their way to winning several jumper classes at the 2004 Vermont Summer Festival.
